LinguaBar ("we", "our", or "us") is a Shopify application that allows merchants to display a language switcher banner on their online store. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our app.

2. Information We Collect

When you install LinguaBar, we collect and store:

Your Shopify store domain
Your Shopify access token (to authenticate API requests)
Banner settings you configure (position, colors, languages)

We do not collect any data about your store's customers or visitors.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information solely to:

Authenticate your store with our application
Save and retrieve your banner configuration
Display your language switcher on your storefront

We do not sell, trade, or share your data with third parties.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Neon and served through Vercel.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as you have LinguaBar installed. When you uninstall the app, all your data is automatically deleted within 48 hours.
